We ordered the teacup for our son-in-law and daughter who are avid consumers of tea. The cups arrived (2) individually boxed and presented very nicely in the containers. I am sure they will be impressed (as we were) with the quality and craftsmanship of the cups.

This little cup is a joy. Wheeling around the outside are six cranes soaring through an orange mist under purple clouds with choppy water below. The inside is a serene glowing gold. Penglai 蓬萊, Island of Immortals in a teacup. And tea would suit it perfectly, but my advice is to fill it occasionally with a nice saké, (it holds one go, 1 合), and then sit back and look. That's the way to get the full benefit of this little treasure.
