This is a beautiful chawan and exactly what I expected from the photos.

I know being handmade each cup will be different. The color and resolution of the cells on the cup I received was very indistinct, especially compared to the photos on the website. All very dark and muddy.

I ordered three bowls, and they arrived much faster than I expected, in beautiful protective boxes. Shapes are just as I expected, but colors were less blue than I would have liked, but the glazes are fascinating. I'm enjoying using them all immediately.

I bought this as a gift for a friend. She loves tea and she’s a scientist so I bought her the cells cup. She loved it so much and the packaging made the gift presentation so much more because of the beautiful box it comes in.
